Tom is originally from southern California where he grew up living an active outdoor life.  Introduced to surfing at an early age Tom adopted the “beach lifestyle” and has been living his dreams ever since.  Tom graduated from San Diego State University.  While in school and after graduation he worked in restaurant management. Tom was offered the opportunity to come to Maui in 1979 and open an beach front restaurant in Kaanapali Beach.  For Tom, the decision was, as he says a “no brainer”. Even though he had just completed construction in San Diego on his first home and lived in the house just thirty days the thought of living in paradise seemed just like the right thing to do.

So here we are, 30 years later, Tom’s living on Maui and truly believes that doing so has been a “daily affirmation”.  Tom resides in Napili on the West side of Maui and shares  a “very cool” home and life with his beautiful wife Elly and their cat Lyche. Their interests include; travel,  Yoga, cooking and entertaining friends and of course, Tom still surfs whenever possible.

Tom has been an active,  full time top producing Realtor since 1984 and previously owned and operated his own real estate company.  In 2002, Tom joined RE/MAX  where he is consistently a "TOP" producer; in the top 10% of all RE/MAX agents in Calif and Hawaii and selected as being in the "TOP" 100 realtors in Hawaii 2008.
